I hope you will experience the peace
I find in the photo above. It was taken by Sheila Finch at Muir Woods north of San Francisco in 1999. Please take note of
the two human figures in the sunlit clearing in the middle of the photo.
I counsel individuals, couples,
and groups in a private practice setting at Station Square in Pittsburgh, PA. I work with people on a variety of issues
including shame and low self-esteem, relationship problems, alcohol and drug dependency, codependency, childhood abuse
and neglect, depression and anxiety.
I offer two Self-Acceptance Groups which focus on beginning/continuing
a healing process from shame. Shame drives addictions of all types and contributes to many problems in our culture such
as marital problems, shyness, low self-esteem and many others. The groups meet every Tuesday and Wednesday from
7 pm to 9 pm at Station Square.
I've had four
years of post-graduate training in Gestalt Therapy at the Cleveland Gestalt Institute. I've also been trained in
Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples at the Baltimore-Washington EFT Center and am on the approved list for EFT Therapists
on the International Center for Excellence for Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy website. Its website is eft.ca .
In addition over the years I have completed other trainings too numerous to list.
